This week, a show "about nothing" as the used to say on Seinfeld. BJ and Bill had hoped to have a special surprise guest on the program, but alas, the stars just didn't line up. Maybe next week. Still, plenty of funny stuff about emojis (we know you love them!), the humble beginnings of Chik-fil-a, and lots more. 

The big discussion of the week is about BJ's heart-transplant history. We answer the question, how long as anyone lived with a transplanted heart? Tune in to find the answer. This week - a VERY special guest on the show with BJ and Bill. Longtime Southwest Florida radio personality - and lots more - Dave Alexander. Dave and BJ go way back to the "early days" of radio in Fort Myers, Cape Coral and Naples. Many people will also recognize Dave's voice as the public address announcer for the Florida Everblades hockey games! 

Like BJ and Bill, Dave has had his ups and downs on the local SW Florida radio scene, even though he (unlike BJ and Bill) didn't shift from station to station quite as much. In almost three decades of work in local radio, Dave was a rock-solid, alway-there personality for local listeners. Needless to say, he's got some great stories to share with BJ and Bill listeners.

Basically, this entire show is just two old guys, reminiscing and complaining. You're wondering, "so what else is new?" Yeah, probably. But it seems more on-point this show. That's a thing, right? 

First, there's a rundown on one of the hard aspects of old-person life: The community HOA, or home-owners association. BJ talks about living in various HOA-regulated communities in recent years. The good, the bad, and the ugly. And yes, there's a little of each of those. 

There's quite a bit more radio history this week, too. Not just with Southwest Florida, but some fun facts about radio and broacasting history, as well as stations the boys listened to in their younger days.

This week: Fun stuff, scary stuff. All on one show! 

First, BJ and Bill discuss the merits of a certain type of "gummy" snack. OK, not really a snack, but it's something that can certainly put you in a better mood - just like chocolate! Definitely a lot stronger than chocolate, for sure. 

Also, there's quite the disucssion on some of the more serioius aspects of AI - artificial intelligence. There are so many new - and frankly scary - ways that AI can be put to work for the "dark side." BJ and Bill talk about how it might show up in everyday life, and in some really important ways... such as influencing elections, in taking peoples' jobs and more. A little more serious for the guys, but it's a good discussion.

Wow... 40 shows! The numbers are adding up, and - to be honest - BJ and Bill impressed themselves with the longevity and consistency of the show. We hope you like it, too. 

This week, gotta admit, it's a little more "adult oriented" show than usual. There's some talk about living a long, happy life, and the options of staying - shall we say - physically and intimately active well into one's senior years. Might be a little edgy, compared to the usual "family friendly" BJ and Bill shows of the past. Nothing to crazy...just letting you know.

Also theres talk of pets, soul mates and lots more. BJ talks about "killing it" in comedy clubs, and more. Oh by the way, the pet thing and the soul-mate thing are related. Yeah, pretty crazy.
