BJ & Bill The Podcast

BJ is getting "out and about," at least as far as other podcasts and radio shows go! He's been a guest on a couple of different shows this past week, talking about his new book, "More Parts Than a Chicken Nugget." It's BJ's very personal story of his life, health challenges, and the way he continues to "live his best life" no matter what.

Looking for the perfect Christmas present for that special someone in your life? Head over to Amazon and get your copy of the book. Just click on this link!

If the opening of this week's show sounds a little strange, don't panic! BJ is pullling out some high-tech gadget in his recording studio to attempt an imitation voice of the Buc-ee's mascot!

If you saw anything from the BJ and Bill - the Podcast Facebook paget this week, you may have seen the pic of Bill (on the road in Warner-Robbins, Georgia) standing right there with the Buc-ee himself! Live and in person! Quite the memory for Bill, we're sure. After all, the boys talk about their Buc-ee's experiences almost every week.

Well, this week it literally came to life, as Bill traveled from Gainesville, Florida, to visit friends in Blue Ridge, GA. What a nice surprise! Yet apparently, BJ is a little jealous of the entire experience... or so it seems. You'll have to listen to the show for all the crazy details.

This week, the boys express their frustration (putting it mildly) over the NFL's "local blackout" fule that meant this weekend, neither Bill nor BJ got to see their beloved Tampa Bay Bucaneers play on TV. That might have been a good thing, since the Bucs lost. (Bad for BJ's heart, you know...)

Also - and way more important - BJ's book is "on the air" (to use a radio term) on Amazon! It's just this week available as a digital download for your Kindle Reader, but the real hardcover shoudl be available soon... so stay tuned.

In fact, if schedules work out, the boys will welcome back to the show the "ghost writer" of BJ's book, Christina Metcalf. Looking forward to that!

This week, two big topics: College football, and BJ's upcoming, soon-to-be-published book.

Football-wise, it's been a tough start of the. season for Bill's University of Florida Gators. Yeah, we know he didn't go to school at UF, but he lives right there in Gainesville, so it's a local thing for him.

Meanwhile, BJ's book is just about ready for publication! Plenty of talk about how to get teh word out...there may even be a book tour in SW and Central Florida, so keep your ears open for more info.

This week - football season is back! And with that, the chances for BJ to. have heart issues, as he watched (and gets overly excited by) the boys favorite team, the Tampa Bay Bucaneers. Still, it all turned out for the best, for BJ and the team.

Seems like every week, there's some kind of "medical update," and this week is no different. Bill had his "oil change" eye surgery, and BJ continues to recover from his latest proceedure as well. Maybe the boys should do another podcast on all things medical? Just a thought.
