The Shilo Hendrix controversy has poured gasoline on a division that needed no accelerant. Explore the alarming trend of "confronting culture" that we seem to be experiencing and its devastating impact on our society. There is a callousness that has been brewing for some time regarding the gaslighting and perpetuated ethnic idolatry in America. Have we lost our capacity for sympathy in the process? In this thought-provoking video, we delve into the consequences of elevating ethnic identity above human connection and examine the repercussions on our collective humanity. We'll be reacting to a video from Matt Walsh and sharing our thoughts on how he misses the point. Join the conversation and discover the importance of reclaiming empathy in our increasingly divided world.

What does the future of the Church look like? Will it be shaped by courageous men who stand strong in their faith, or will it be led astray by those who compromise? In this thought-provoking video, I address some of the lasting impact of the last generation of soft men on this current generation. I also address the looming catastrophe headed for an unprepared church.  We'll look at some relatively recent events that serve as evidence of weak leadership in the church of recent past. Join me as I dive into the importance of bold, faith-filled leadership and what it means for the Church's future.

This is an earlier conversation with Monique Duson and Kevin Briggins of the Center for Biblical Unity and Offcode Podcast. We discuss a relatively recent article in Christianity Today written by Justin Giboney of the AndCampaign. It seems that there is some revising going on when we reflect on the last 10 years and the social justice movement that swept across churches in the United States. The Black Lives Matter movement and critical theory have both been proven toxic. We discuss exactly how we can know that. Link to Woke Preacher Article

In the second half of the show, the trio react to Eric Mason's recent statements about the presence of the prosperity Gospel in the black church.

In this thought-provoking episode, Brandon tackles a sensitive and timely question: Is America's Church RACIST? Brandon explores the complex and often controversial relationship between faith and race in the United States. From the legacy of slavery and segregation to modern-day biases and macroaggressions, we examine the ways in which racism has been perpetuated and perpetuates within Christian hearts. Have we justified hatred by hearkening back to the hatred that preceded it? Is the church truly a beacon of hope and unity, or has it failed to address its own complicity in modern, systemic racism? Listen in and share your thoughts in the comments. Let us know if you also see the growth in ethnic idolatry.

There is something that every shepherd ought to have buried in his heart - a desire to protect. Before we even discuss the ability to protect proficiently, it must start with a desire. The fallout from the MLK episodes left a lasting scar. Genuine astonishment took place at the flippant responses people made to MLK's alleged sexual assault. This ought to make us think - "am I willing to protect a predator as long as I think highly of him/her?".

Is this something the church has been doing for a long time? Who in the Lord's church, will stand and call her to task? We are to be sober-minded, impartial and to have righteous judgment. This episode is for you, listener. May we all be examined by the Lord and may He remove from within us anything that would contribute to predator curation.

There are voices behind abuse. We will listen to three of them. I want us to think of these voices when we flippantly look to defend someone merely because of their status.

If there is one thing that has been exposed through our hyper-politicized climate over the past decade, it has been the political and ethnic idolatry that is deeply rooted in our society. One of those idols is erected in what is colloquially called, 'The Black Church".

Brandon calls it "bibliocentric, ethnic Theism". However, boiled down to the core it is idolatry and it is disheartening to see how many don't recognize it. Pastors like Jamal Bryant, who was run out of Baltimore, spend their time behind the Lord's pulpit rallying people toward hatred and covetousness. We set up a live stream to discuss it all and interacted with some listeners live while we analyzed some videos surrounding this issue.

In today's political climate, the American church, depending on who you speak with, is on the brink of a moral relapse or on the brink of a golden age. How did we get to such an impasse amongst Christians? Is DOGE that big a deal for Christians and their convictions? Where were those convictions the last 4 years? Are conservative Christians heartless for lacking sympathy for their neighbors affected by these grand changes?

Have we gone too far with our allegiance to government? Have we neglected the deep implications of what it means to be the (C)hurch? How does a Christian live in this new era of American history where there are both things to celebrate and mourn?

As we navigate these waters, Christians are reminded to revert back to their profession. This profession can be summed up into two words - believing loyalty. This loyalty belongs to God and only to God. It doesn't belong to democrats nor to republicans. Not to Trump. Nor to Obama, Biden, Clinton etc.

However, when this loyalty is lived out, there will be uncompromisable principles we, as Christians are called to stand firm in. And you should never move one inch on those principles...for anyone. How should we wade these waters faithfully rather than gleefully with bitter vengeance in our hearts toward our neighbors? Maybe Brandon will address some of this. Let him know your thoughts in the comment section!

We're joined again by Alissa Hollander who shares some stories we can all relate to: having tough conversations about faith with those who vehemently disagree. As a lover of apologetics, Alissa wanted the opportunity to share her beliefs amidst tense disagreement but wasn't prepared for all of the tension that may come with the territory. Listen in as she shares how God has pruned her though the toughest of conversations that may have led to the most surprising results!
