  • BMVT : Venting With Trevon Kelley ✌🏽
    Good Morning Nashville! ☀️
Back at it! Excited once again to be a part of you guys new week with a new episode from your favorite father-and-son podcast 💫
To our new listeners, we want to welcome you to the Black Men Vent Too Podcast . The ONLY black father-and-son podcast in Nashville, Tennessee 🥇
Let’s get into today’s episode! We’re excited to introduce to some and present to others, our good friend Mr. Trevon Kelley ✌🏽. Born in Virginia, but raised in East Nashville (“out east” for those that know), Trevon has spent most of his time growing up in the city. If you know Trevon, he is a very “to himself” kind of brother, and he credits his parents for that. Also, if you know Trevon, this guy is NO STRANGER to fashion and swag 💰 , which he credits his grandad behind that . Trevon vents about being a proud uncle of 4, and talks about how he’s affectionately called “uncle dad” by his nieces and nephews. He vents later in the episode about how the loss of one of his uncles challenged his mental health, as he dealt with grief heavily during his time at Tennessee State University . Trevon is one of the most meek and humble individuals we’ve had. You guys surely are going to enjoy today’s episode!

  • BMVT : Venting With Jay Snapps ✌🏽
    Good Morning Nashville! ☀️
New week, so you know what that means, a new episode from your favorite Nashville-based podcast! Buckle up because we can assure you, you’re in for a good one on today.
    Let’s get into it! 🔥
Presenting to some … introducing to others, our good friend Mr. Jermaine Studwell ⭐️. Jermaine, better known as “Jay Snapps”, is originally from Newport News, Virginia and is the youngest of 4 siblings, one of them being a twin sister. He shares with our BMVT platform how he started his college career as a stout football player at Virginia State University, and then transferred to the prolific HBCU being North Carolina A&T University. Jay talks about how moving away from home and starting his college journey truly was a challenge towards his mental health at a young age. He describes himself as “low key and reserved”, but credits his demeanor to how God used that to walk him into his purpose.
Jay Snapps, to our Nashville audience, is by far one of the most talented and gifted photographers/videographers in the WORLD. His goal in college as a kinesiology major was to be a professor, but God had other plans. To those reading, have you ever wondered what the “guy behind the camera” goes through? There are content creators all over the world, but Jay Snapps walks us into his world of how hard it can be to have to produce content consistently while dealing with mental health issues. Take some time to listen to Jay and his story today, it is a story that as we always say … deserves to be heard.

Share our episode today with a friend! And PLEASE PLEASE give us some feedback! We cannot be our best, without your support. To our loyal fans and listeners, we thank you for once again tuning in to the ONLY black father and son podcast in Nashville, Tennessee.

  • “Co-Parenting Conspiracies” With Jaysarius Fisher ✌🏽
    Good Morning Nashville ☀️
TODAY’S EPISODE IS A BONUS ⭐️ EPISODE TO OUR OCTOBER SEASON OF “CO-PARENTING CONSPIRACIES” 🔥
You heard it right! We have extended our October season for just one more episode, and we know you guys will love todays guest and the conversation. We received a lot of feedback about how impactful last month was to so many, as always … we thank you all for your prayers and support 🙏🏽
Today’s guest on the BONUS ⭐️ EPISODE of our “Co-Parenting Conspiracies” Season is our good friend Jaysarius Fisher ✌🏽. The Bordeaux Hills area of Nashville is where Jay grew up, and he reflects on those adolescent years . We talk about his upbringing and how his grandparents played a major role in the man he is today. As we get into the co-parenting conversation later in the show, Jaysarius says that the one thing that often times causes separation is just a lack of partnership. He talks about the 50/50 effort that is needed when you’re parenting a child and the importances of making the child the main focus within a co-parenting relationship. This bonus episode just adds to what we’ve done, and we hope that listening to the episodes last month will give us all a better understanding on how co-parenting can both positively and negatively affect your mental health 🧠🫶🏽.

    Good Morning Nashville ☀️
If you woke up this morning … you winning 💫
Super excited to be a part of you guys new week. BACK TO BACK EPISODES AGAIN THIS WEEK FROM THE BLACK MEN VENT TOO PODCAST 🔥 and we definitely got a great one for you today as we continue to march through our October season titled “Co-Parenting Conspiracies” 😈
    Let’s get into today’s episode!
A woman of grace, well-spoken, and a mother that truly embodies a great personality … we have none other than Ms. Zaviera Harrison on the show 🌹. A mother of one daughter, working in the supplemental benefits/insurance industry, but a proud mother for sure and cherishes every moment with her baby girl . A native of the city, and she comes to vent of course about her co-parenting experience. Zaviera is very transparent with us on today’s episode, sharing how rough it was to go 37 weeks pregnant, no medicine needed, but also … no help from a true “partner” during the time.
“The expectations are different … between mom and dad, why don’t we have conversations like that?”
This statement by Zaviera is HUGE, and one big reason why we have started this season in hopes that we can get these conversations out, without emotion, to help us all be better parents . We’ve all come short as parents in some way, shape, or form . But at the end of the day guys … it’s all about the child . Let’s never forget that 🙏🏽
