Kunta had a home emergency requiring the essential services of Home Depot. Did you know that Home Depot is an essential business? You probably wouldn't think so until you have a leaking pipe during the apocolypse.

Evangelicals want you to disregard your job and give it all to the lord. So if you have been holding on to that 10% thinking you needed to save it for a rainy day, don't fret. Just give it to the lord and he will provide. Kit and I are not tithing. So, there's that.

King Kunta wants Trump to shut his mouth as an alternative from telling lies. As much as I think there is an honesty issue, I also feel like the regular joe has a responsibility to not poke the bear. Either way, Kunta is glad that there is an expert just to the side of Trump to fill in all of the gaps that Trump leaves.

To be honest, you don't really need show notes this week. We are talking about COVID-19 and the response of the government, or lack thereof. State Government is having to take the lead. In some cases, there is not a coordinated effort even within states. And where is the Fed? Kunta thinks this is a Trump Administration issue.

Black On Both Sides Episode #74

The Clippers had a home game? No, the Lakers had a home game? Whatever! I am not going to get into Los Angeles politics. The Lakers played the Clippers at home. King Kunta thinks it is comical how they try to dress up the Staples Center for the Clips. This will always be the house that Kobe (and Shaq) built.

Meanwhile a coast away, one of the greatest fans of all time is getting disrespected. Spike Lee can’t come through the employee entrance of MSG. He has been doing this for decades. Oh well, not exactly racism, but really about another owner that is far from self aware.

Zaya is officially here. Wade and Union are at the front of the progressive kid parade. I have softened my stance because this is obviously something that they are all extremely confident about. Kunta is still on the side of caution. And we both want to know why they haven’t permitted the outside kid to get some attention. 

The Democratic Primary is still alive for three hopefuls. Biden, Bernie, and… Why the hell are you still running. Give it up, third person. This is not for you. 

Dr. Drew was all over social media saying that the virus outbreak is not being presented correctly. He doesn’t believe the world should be in mass hysteria. We should all wash our hands a little more and stop coughing and sneezing into the air. Kunta thinks we are all going to get it. At least he feels like most of us will not feel the effects of getting it. But we are all going to get it. You get Corona, You get Corona, everybody gets Corona!   

As far as Trump this week, I am happy that his time in office has a painted a very clear picture of how inept all of the “officials’ and “experts” are. We are living in a world where no one truly knows anything. Some people are just really good at pretending they do. And we believe them.

Black On Both Sides Episode #73

Kunta white shames me at the very beginning of the show. Coincidentally, he later asks me to give Barack credit as being the first black president. That may not make sense in the notes. Trust me, you will get it when you listen.

Kunta saw a picture where several black people were laying hands on Donald Trump. Now he feels like everyone in that picture is a coon. Skinfolk ain't necessarily your kinfolk. Multiple Choice: Which president is the first black American president? Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, or Donald Trump. Believe it or not, answers may vary.

After the NFL Combine, Kunta wants to argue the point that Tony Romo's new 17 million dollar deal is exactly what is wrong with the NFL. Does his celebrity match the payout? And why don't we have a black owner yet?

It was reported that Trump called the Coronavirus a hoax, and liberal media went crazy. Even though, he corrected them by saying that he wasn't calling the virus itself a hoax, but the outrage towards it by the liberal media, it didn't stop the reporting. At some point the general public has to see the silliness of what they are choosing to report on.

Most of the Democratic delegates have begun to drop away. Kunta feels like Biden has stepped up in a major way and possibly cemented his seat at the table. Although, he will vote for whoever is opposite Trump, he is ready to put full support behind the new Biden. Meanwhile, new attention is directed at Bernie and his non-Democratic party loyalty. There is new evidence that Russia is working to get Bernie nominated.
