The Folo welcomes back two contributors, Margie Jordan of CCRA and Kier Matthews of Classic Vacations, as they again tackle the problem of diversity in travel. In this episode, the jumping-off point is a survey of travel advisors conducted by Travel Weekly that revealed a wide gulf between how white travel sellers and nonwhite sellers perceive diversity in the travel industry. Matthews and Jordan also discussed the results of an MMGY survey of Black travelers and how much they spend on leisure vacations: Nearly $110 billion in 2019.
