Derrick Henry's numbers against the Las Vegas Raiders were not eye-popping. He rushed for 85 yards on 20 carries and caught five passes for 58 yards. Yet anyone who saw the first two games of this season knows this performance looked different, and the two-time rushing champion was clearly a difference-maker in this contest. ... Caleb Farley was benched in favor of newcomer Terrance Mitchell. The move did not go well as Mitchell gave up a number of big plays and after the game coach Mike Vrabel said coaches are "still looking" for the best combination of cornerbacks. What does Sunday's approach say about Farley's development in his second season and about his chances to be the player the Titans hoped when they selected him in the first round of the 2021 draft? ... Tennessee has done without left tackle Taylor Lewan at times in recent years. It won't have him anymore this season because of a knee injury. Add to that his contract status (the Titans can save big money if they cut him next year) and it's possible that Lewan's time in Tennessee has ended. ... The first division game of the season in on tap in Week 4 (at Indianapolis), and surprises from the first three weeks of the season conclude the show.

Former Titans cornerback Denard Walker and All Titans at SI.com writers David Boclair and John Glennon take a close look at cornerback Caleb Farley's struggles in his second career start. But the 2021 first-round draft pick was not the only one who struggled in pass coverage. On offense, Aaron Brewer was one of the big stories during the preseason and training camp, but the undersized, athletic left guard has not measured up to expectations in his first season as a starter. He and the rest of the offensive line still have not given Derrick Henry the room he needs to run. The challenges don't get any easier -- particularly for the defense -- in Week 3 when the Las Vegas Raiders and their high-powered passing game come to town, and injuries on both sides of the ball are wreaking havoc in a way they did not a year ago. Despite all of that, the panel finds glimmers of hope for what is to come.

John Glennon and David Boclair of All Titans at SI.com and former Titans cornerback Denard Walker break down the Tennessee Titans' 21-20 loss to the New York Giants to open the 2022 NFL season. This episode includes a look at what went wrong with the run defense, which was one of the league's best in 2021, what the play of running back Derrick Henry and quarterback Ryan Tannehill said about what is to come for this season and what it means to be 0-1 in a 17-game season. Other topics include an unusual number of rookies -- led by wide receivers Treylon Burks and Kyle Philips -- being involved right at the start, Jeffery Simmons showing how dominant he can be and the good and bad of offensive coordinator Todd Downing's day. Finally, the panel looks at what the Titans need to do to win in Week 2 against the Buffalo Bills, a team that had a dramatically different start to its season.

Harold Landry was a Pro Bowl outside linebacker in 2021, and the Tennessee Titans rewarded him with a five-year, $87.5 million contract this offseason. Landry won't play in 2022 because of a knee injury sustained in practice, and coaches will have to look to multiple players to replace his contributions to the defense. Also, franchise officials turned to oft-suspended Josh Gordon and signed him to the practice squad in an attempt to add some speed and a downfield threat to the wide receiver group. At 31 years old, there are questions about what he can still contribute, provided -- of course -- he stays out of trouble. There also are plenty of questions about Tennessee's Week 1 opponent, the New York Giants, who are on their third head coach in four years. It will be up to the Titans to figure it all out quickly to avoid a repeat of the disastrous 2021 Week 1 loss at Arizona. All of this, plus hosts Denard Walker, John Glennon and David Boclair offer their predictions for how many games the Titans will win this season.

Former Titans cornerback Denard Walker and All Titans at SI.com reporters John Glennon and David Boclair take a close look at the initial 53-man roster. Three undrafted rookies made it. Four players drafted in the last three years did not. The offensive line looks to be a work in progress. The wide receiver group looks like it needs reinforcement. The safeties are a different group than what was expected at the start of camp. How does it all fit together and what does it mean for the 2022 season-opener against the New York Giants, which is now fewer than two weeks away, and what types of alterations are likely between now and then?

With one preseason game to go, there is a clear leader between Dillon Radunz and Nicholas Petit-Frere in the contest to be the starter at right tackle. Cornerback Roger McCreary is undersized and has remarkably short arms for his position but has stood tall against Caleb Farley, whose measurables are among his greatest assets. Punter Brett Kern has been on Tennessee's roster longer than any other current player, but there are suddenly clear indications that his days could be numbered. And Malik Willis looks destined to be the No. 2 quarterback when the regular season starts based on how he has been used in the first two preseason contests. John Glennon and David Boclair of All Titans at SI.com along with former Titans cornerback Denard Walker break down these situations and more in this episode of Bleav In Titans.

Hosts Denard Walker, David Boclair and John Glennon dig into the Tennessee Titans' 23-10 preseason loss to the Baltimore Ravens. In particular, they look at rookie quarterback Malik Willis, who started but whose evening abruptly ended when coach Mike Vrabel did not like what he saw, first-round pick Treylon Burks, who looked like a different player (not in a good way) than what he had been on the practice field, and running back Julius Chestnut, an undrafted free agent who has been a good fit with what the Titans like to do on offense. The episode concludes with a look ahead to joint workouts with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, during which -- Walker says -- former Tennessee wide receiver Julio Jones will want to prove a point.

Former Titans cornerback Denard Walker and All Titans at SI.com reporter David Boclair look ahead to the preseason opener against the Baltimore Ravens. Many starters won't play, but the battle to be the starting right tackle reaches its next stage with no clear leader between Dillon Radunz and Nicholas Petit-Frere. Quarterbacks Logan Woodside and Malik Willis will each see plenty of action, but it is not likely the status of either will change based on those performances. Tennessee has one position group that could dominate in the preseason in a way that it will not during the regular season. Plus, a Pro Football Hall of Famer and a Titans great from a decade ago are referenced – and more.

Training camp is in full swing, and through the first week of workouts there is much to like about the 2022 Tennessee Titans and nothing obvious that could send this season off the rails. Former Titans cornerback Denard Walker and All Titans at SI.com writers David Boclair and John Glennon look at the impact of the season's first practice sessions, including what running back Derrick Henry has done and what quarterback Ryan Tannehill has not. Rookie quarterback Malik Willis remains one of the most closely watched players on the roster, but he does not yet have Tannehill looking back over his shoulder. Safeties Kevin Byard and Amani Hooker look like they could combine to shoulder a heavy load, not just for the defense but for the entire team. All of this and more in this episode of Bleav in Titans.

First-round draft pick Treylon Burks made plays and took accountability for offseason conditioning issues that forced him out of some workouts and to sit out others. It was a good start to training camp for the wide receiver out of Arkansas and eased concerns about what he can add to the offense this season. ... Quarterback Ryan Tannehill also looked like a new man as compared to the first day of training camp a year ago. ... Jeffery Simmons did not stay at home, did not sit out the day's activities and did not address his contract situation. So, things could have been worse. ... Finally, three of this season's six Offseason MVPs were members of the 2021 draft class, which contributed relatively little last season. Does this mean things will be different for that group this season? ... With Denard Walker on vacation, All Titans at SI.com writers John Glennon and David Boclair break down all of this and more.
