When we are struggling, how are we supposed to face adversity with warmth and compassion? It is in life's toughest moments, that we find the best versions of ourselves. 

Welcome to another episode of How the Fuck Do I Even Do This. Today, I'm going to be discussing what I think the difference is between Happiness and Joy, and why I think the term "chasing happiness" isn't as nice as it sounds. I think we can gradually mould ourselves to be people that naturally step into happiness when it comes, and naturally step out of it when it goes without holding onto it for dear life and disappointing ourselves when that little high of happiness is over. I'm hoping by the end of this, you and I will be feeling a lot more appreciative of the present. 

Follow your intuition, follow your voice of faith, don't give in to that voice of fear. 

Your achievements will only be as big as the challenges you are willing to face 

Your ability to stay true to your heart by choosing NOT to engage in something that might hurt it, is a true representation of your authenticity

this is a word that's thrown around everywhere, and personally I am no professional but I believe all of us fall somewhere on the narcissism "scale/spectrum". Today I'm talking about how we can prevent people's narcissistic tendencies from getting to us and how we can prevent ourselves from taking the same actions against others out of hurt/fear/resentment, etc.

What does it really mean to believe in ourselves?

the difference between compassion and kindness is perspective. while kindness is an act, i think compassion is how we choose to perceive the situation.
