  • #19: Simon Roy

From the misty Canadian isle of Vancouver Island, returns the modern day renaissance-man of the comic book world. That’s right folks, he does it all.

Simon Roy, unknowingly, returns to the comic domain of the Blue Tiger, and he’s bringing multiple servings of fresh milk! We catch up and talk his latest projects, concepting, collaborating, channeling of Tim and Eric energies (“Great Job”), and the brutal kicks of classic Kung Fu cinema.

He’s rolling out a new sci-fi comedy, Griz Grobus! Currently being published through the Webtoon platform, it’s everything you want in a web-comic. Also it’s free to read, so check it now while it’s just starting to get rolling!

Maybe you missed the kickstarter campaign a while back? Well, you are in luck my fuzzy friend because the collected stories of “GRIP OF THE KOMBINAT” is coming to shelves this June.

We delved into the collaborative process of the mind melding between Simon and Damon Gentry as they plotted and manifested this bizarrely brilliant GN. Their secret ingredient?… (whispers) Classic Kung Fu films.

In the process, the duo, may have also created the greatest campaign video in the history of Kickstarter. Legends aren’t born, they’re made.

  • #18: Aaron McConnell & Steven White

Ride the tiger through the independent, Afropunk, sci-fi expanse of “Ancient Futures.”

With the Kickstarter in the final days of it’s journey, the Revenge crew sat down with the creative team behind this new comic series, writer Steven White and artist Aaron McConnell.

In this, tiger-milk thick, 40 page first issue, White plugs the reader into the occupied timeline of Valentino Cruz and the symphony of events that will dictate his universal trajectory.

McConnell, coming off his massively successful graphic novel, “The Comic Book Story of Beer,” brings the surreal thunder with his cosmic-tripping multi-medium storytelling.

Time is short so make your pledge now if you wanna sink your tiger claws into the sweet book meat of “ANCIENT FUTURES.”

Does your future seem bright? Then put on those shades and share that blue tiger milk!

Be oh so fine as you go through life and show the stripes of our sweet designs.

  • #13. The Holiday Special

Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year!

The Revenge crew start the first episode of 2022 right! After taking a moment to honor the legendary awesomeness that is Betty White , we then jump into our usual shenanigan’s with our reflection of this past year and dreams of what may come.

What was our very best of 2021?

Bry’s pick was our very own web-comic, “Operation: B.L.U.E.”

Being able to jump sides from reader to creator is an experience he never thought he’d have the opportunity to do and has loved every moment of it.

Tadd’s best of 21 was Barry Windsor-Smith’s, “Monsters.” It’s a magnum opus that embodies everything that made him want to be comic creator way back in the distant time 2006.

    The WEIRDEST OF 2021?

And by “weirdest” we mean the most enjoyed from outside our per usual scope of consumed storytelling. The projects that expanded our casual horizons, if you will.

Big Bry’s pick: Gaveneye. The mysterious and murderous, psychological drama from the mind of, Blue Tiger favorite, Sloane Leong!

Tadd’s pick was the final book from Adhouse, the Immonen’s social media experiment manifested into beautiful tangibility, Grass of Parnassus.

Last, but not least… our Moby Dicks of 2021!

    The failed hunts.

For Bry it was the suddenly unobtainable “Pluto” series from, comic juggernaut, Naoki Urasawa. A modern retelling of Tezuka’s 1950’s classic, “Astro Boy.”

If you have it and want to hook him up…. get ready to watch a giant cry with joy.

It may not look like much, but for some reason the obsession with this figure will not fade. Yeah, it could of been purchased via the world-wide-web, but damnit’, Tadd needed to find it in person…. out in the wilds, like nature intended. From way back in the year of 91’, Toy Biz’s Wolverine. It’s so stupid, it’s beautiful ( I need it).

And that rounds out another year of fresh, straight from the blue body, tiger milk. It’s cold outside so spread the warmth of our broadcast center… hidden… somewhere… in the pop culture wild-lands.
