After crossing paths in Cincinnati, fellow Kubert alum, comic artist Gavin Smith enters the tiger pit to tell his tales of “legend” and “new frontiers!”
Gavin is currently illustrating IDW’s, “Star Trek: Mirror War” that’s currently on shelves now. So bold go into the new frontier with beefcake Picard and all your favorites from the Next Gen era.
We also sunk the blue claws deep into the origin of how Smith’s own passion project came to be. From the not so subtle inspirations of 80’s badassery of action/martial arts VHS’s and the support of publishing house A Wave Blue World, “Dead Legends” round house kicked onto shelves and into faces.
With volumes I and II already in the can, it sounds like a third is possibly waiting in the shadows. So dip those fists in ceremonial glass, kick those trees till shins break, and make peace with your sensei cause volume three is gonna get intense!

And lastly, the Revenge crew hopes everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Since it’s the giving season why not give someone a little taste of that frothy fresh tiger milk while you’re here.
Or give us a piece of your twisted mind!

From the back of the fridge, pull that old jar of TIGER MILK and chug the chunks as the Revenge crew rip it old school style!
a bit late, due to some technical hick-ups, but we still bring that auditory pain as Big Bry breaks down the new Marvel flick, Eternals. Then we take a trip back to the trailer park to see what’s coming our way this holiday season. Later the Milkman lays it down with the publication from the always badass AdHouse, “Grass of Parnassus.” A futuristic Instagram comic that’s now in physical print, from the always inspiring creative duo, Kathryn and Stuart Immonen.
Look for us at Emerald City Comic Con 2021, Dec. 4-5; exhibitor hall, Critical Entertainment booth.

Out of the Pacific Northwest lurks… the legendary Bigfoot, or Sasquatch to those who know….
Relive the first hand accounts with the Revenge crew in this very special classic “throwback” episode.
Episode guest and professional nature photographer, Trevor A., was able document his encountered trackway, which was later sent for review at Idaho State University.
Does a bipedal wood-ape roam the mountains, bogs and forests of the PNW? Or is is something else… a foot?
Like what you heard? Then don’t be shy with all the farm-fresh tiger milk.
The big O' HALLOWEEN episode! We talk the debut of “Operation: B.L.U.E.”, our movie picks of the spooky season (some new, and some old and dirty… Chuck Norris), and also review TKO’s new anthology, “Tales of Terror.” Put your costume back on for the last hay-ride into comic book hell as we celebrate the greatest time of the year.
The Revenge crew have dropped the first page of their creature-feature, action-adventure, web comic, “Operation: B.L.U.E.”
If today was the year 1985 the elevator pitch would be: “Imagine the A-team (but as bad-o ladies) hunting down the giant mutant bear from Prophecy. A new page will drop every Friday night, free of course (as always). Later, there will be some “paid content” showing how this beasty sausage is made (gross). We gotta’ keep the lights on some how.
Sample the creative process, mid-grind:
Wow…. Would you look at all that… stuff. Just for one little page.
Again, the new page (pg. #0) is already up and ready for consumption. And don’t forget, brought to you by everyone’s favorite underground, never been heard of imprint, GNAR PIG. Some say they’re like the Wolverine; “the best there is at what….” If you ask me, (Tadd) I don’t really know, but I’ve been told this has been said by somebody… somewhere.
New Page every Friday.
A fun horror anthology just in time to cap off All Hallows’ Eve; TKO presents: Tales of Terror.
Even though the book itself would be categorized within the horror genre, each individual story is presented as a “Tale of Terror” that dips a toe into a different sub-genre. So you get some sci-fi, some war and so on. Setting the classic TV vibe of Outer Limits or Twilight Zone with a diversity of characters, voices, and styles.
The most beautiful thing about this anthology is the smorgasbord of styles. From the variations in writing voices to the execution of art in storytelling.
Pre-orders are happening now only at TKO. Check it!
That’s it tiger cubs. Blowing out the candles, locking the gate, cause this haunted house is all out of candy. HAPPY HALLOWEEN (insert sinister laugh)!

Need to chime in? Hopefully good, but we’ll gladly take the bad.
The tiger brings us to the forefront of indigenous comics with Dimi Macheras and Casey Silver, of 80% STUDIOS, as we explore their new graphic novel, CHICKALOONIES: First Frost.
With the heart and voice of the truest of storytellers Dimi and Casey have visualized a stunning Alaska native adventure GN. Establishing an ever-expanding Arctic world of learning, family, and magic through the art and story of this all-ages book.
Culture and language are creatively explored and shared like never before experienced in the comic/graphic novel medium. Connecting the past to the present and the present to the future in what is easily one of the most original books of 2021.
Simply put… a creative triumph and a shining bright vision for the future of tribal voices in the comic book spectrum and the universal experience of storytelling.
Also… bigfoot…. Yeah, we dove deep into the tiger milk on that again.

Comic creator Sloane Leong makes her much anticipated return to the tiger den! She’s written a fantastic new graphic novel that drops THIS WEEK from TKO studios, Graveneye!
Graveneye is a dark and fascinating tale that’s just in time for the Halloween season. Sloane talks to you through the chill and alien voice of an old house as it observes the visceral and emotional conflicted lives of it’s occupants play out.
“If these walls could talk,” is definitely an understatement as artist Anna Bowles provides beautifully organic visuals that fully immerse you in the delicateness of the human psyche while also exhibiting its capacity for being raw and brutal.
