A lifelong resident of Harris County, Briscoe’s Texas roots run deeper than most. Named Briscoe in honor of a family surname Briscoe, his

lineal ancestor, Andrew Briscoe fought in the Texian Army and was a signor of the Texas Declaration of Independence.
