Rafa Dahvid was born in Poland, where he grew up playing classic board games such as chess and Monopoly. He moved to Scotland to study Aero-Mechanical Engineering, due to his lifelong interest in the aviation industry. During his university years, Rafa was exposed to modern board games, which inspired him to create Connecting Flights. In his day job, Rafa is working on solving logistical problems at offshore wind farms; in the evenings he enjoys playing and designing games.

Our Family Plays Games was created by Mik & Starla Fitch and their son Grant. They have been involved in the modern board hobby for more than 9 years. In an effort to bring more families and people of color into the hobby, in 2018 they launched Our Family Plays Games on Facebook and Instagram, so they would have a voice and presence in the hobby that would encourage other families and people of color to get involved in modern board games. After getting a positive response from their social media pages, they decided to take things further, so in January 2020 they launched Our Family Plays Games on YouTube and a few months later, added Twitter to the mix. For many, their perspective and lighthearted approach to sharing, reviewing, and discussing board games was a breath of fresh air, so much so that on June 26, 2020 they were featured on Good Morning America. This family of board game players is continuing their mission to bring more families and people of color into this hobby that they love.

The world's most aviary focused board game podcast. Indigenous to the eastern shore of the United States, the horned Quackalope can be spotted where board games are played. The ill-suited ornithologists, Jesse Anderson and Jan Bigas, discuss board games on a weekly basis in an effort to catch the elusive bird. Through long winded conversations on mechanics, context, theme and game design, the hosts strive to discover the reason for Quackalope's fascination with the hobby. Join us at the table and don't forget your binoculars.
