There are a lot of victims in the world.  The paradox here is that most victims don't talk about it, while most people who talk about it aren't actually victims.  There are none so non-talkative as animals; that's one of their defining traits.  It also makes it very easy for bad people to do bad things to them.  That's why we get people like Bob, who is a good person, to do good things for them along with the rest of Ranch Hands Rescue.  This planet is a living thing, and Bob is the medicine.  And I guess animal abusers would be chlamydia or something then.
