When I’m having a conversation with someone, I’m trying to understand what this person is saying, so I can relate to her. When I’m trying to understand the past, present or anything the person is telling me, it's normal to go back and think about the things that I know so I can relate to what the person is saying. Here's a great example, If I tell you that I have a car and I crashed my car. How I’m going to fix it or whatever I need to do to it. The first thing you do is start to think about your own car or you think about cars you have had in the past. It’s like a point of reference, something we have in common. For example, if you are an engineer you may be thinking about that new car, new project that you are working on, we refer to all those memories that we have stored up to go back and relate to what people are trying to tell us. Based on that, let me tell you a little bit about myself. Back in the past, I was a completely different person. I was on the wrong path and I was broke, out of shape and everything I was doing wasn't giving me what I wanted in life. My life was a mess and I’m telling you this because I want you to understand that I've been where others have been, living paycheck to paycheck, bad relationships, blaming the other person for the breakup.
One day one of my friends told me that my arm looked like a big sausage. The reason why was because I was lifting weights, but my body was not toned. I wasn't doing it the right way. I was following a lot of myths. I studied and continue to study a lot about how people get results and succeed in life. I specialize in weight loss, that's what I do. I help people to lose weight. Losing weight is not something difficult, anybody can lose weight. They don't need to, but they hire me for a reason. Maybe, they need accountability, they need to understand the difference between myths and correct information. Some are confused, some are not motivated. There are a lot of reasons why people hire me and that's the reason why I have a career.
