Now that 80Bites is gaining an audience, it's really interesting to hear people's reactions. Some think 80 bites means the number of bites you take in one meal, while others believe it refers to 80 chews. It’s all part of the shift from what you eat to how much.

As a female who is 84 years old, I'm deluged with invitations to talk at "Women's Empowerment" conferences to talk to young women about how they can succeed at becoming an entrepreneur. I decline because I'm what I like to think of as a "reluctant entrepreneur".

In this episode of Body Conversations, Joan Breibart discusses why consumers are so easily suckered into doing things for their bodies that are obviously ineffective—and why, even after hundreds of articles have exposed this marketing concept as unrelated to how many steps you should take a day, they continue to parrot those ideas.

I'm being asked to be a guest on podcast. These are about wellness, but it's also an indication of how incredibly lazy and screwed up this country is marketing people or actual podcasts. Find me on LinkedIn and they just project because I'm in the Pilates business they never look at anything I've written or said I'm telling you now don't listen anymore unless you're just doing it to make negative comments as I do but believe me, Mel Robbins would have me put to death if she ever read anything or even her staff

Another day, another miracle food list—this time courtesy of Mel Robbins and Dr. Li, who swear dark chocolate (80–90% cacao), pomegranate juice, and five daily cups of coffee will melt fat and change your life. But don’t question the “science”—just buy the magic foods, shut up, and eat. Meanwhile, Joan Breibart cuts through the wellness hype with brutal clarity, humor, and a $537 eyedrop story you won’t forget.

It’s St. Patrick’s Day in NYC, and I’m calling out the self-help industrial complex—starting with Mel Robbins. Millions love her. I can’t stop watching her. But her 5-second rule doesn’t fit my chaos.
This episode breaks down why her sob story sells and mine doesn’t, how my Pilates invention got hijacked by direct-marketing vultures, and why the algorithm thinks Tony Robbins is my next guru.
Introducing my Chicken Sh*t Strategy—a filter for modern life—and the 537 Tactic, proof my mornings move faster than most people’s months.

In this episode, Joan takes on the self-help circus starring Mel Robbins, Tony Robbins (no relation), and AI algorithms. With 60+ years of industry insight, Joan breaks down why diet trends, fitness fads, and self-help hacks haven’t delivered. From $29 dolphin-neck creams to three-minute miracle workouts, she exposes the false promises and explores why we keep buying hope. She’s not doomscrolling like Mel Robbins has warned against—she’s researching, dancing, stretching, and calling BS on it all.

After five years of podcasting with minimal fanfare, I finally asked myself: What makes the top podcasts so popular? Cue a deep dive into the world of Joe Rogan, sex talk shows, and the queen of life advice—Mel Robbins. In this episode, I explore how Mel went from anxious attorney to $48 million microphone mogul, why her style resonates, and what it reveals about today’s obsession with Life Coaches. I question the cult of confidence, share a few hard-earned truths from my own experience as an inventor and beauty industry vet, and ask—do we really need motivation, or just a little laughter and perspective? Let’s talk Body, Mel, and the BS we’ve all bought into.

Episode #1 of the Anti Series
Introduction to the book which was just published and it's available on Amazon on Kindle or the Kindle app it's $.99 or free if you're in Kindle unlimited and it explains why wellness is a scam and where will be at the end of this year I discussed Fat acceptance and body positivity and why these groups are endangered as our what I referred to as wellness bitches. The book has 40 photos and there are two really funny wellness bitch garments. I predict that being a wellness bitch will not be acceptable. I think the Kennedy and his distractions will be exposed by Elon Musk.
