Bold and the Beautiful sees Hope Logan's (Annika Noelle) world seems to be on the brink of collapse. The week kicked off with her making some shocking declarations to her mother, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). This has left viewers anticipating the moment when Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) reassert their power over Forrester Creations. Hope's grip on the company slips on the CBS soap opera.

Bold and Beautiful sees after successfully shattering Carter Walton's (Lawrence Saint-Victor) confidence in the coup, Brooke's campaign has left Hope reeling. She was confident in her and Carter's control over the company, but his suggestion to return it sends shockwaves through her. This leads her to imagine the worst-case scenario: a return to a powerless state if Carter relinquishes control of the LLC, and Brooke steps down as CEO.

B&B sees Hope's belief that they could permanently keep Forrester Creations from the original family seems overly optimistic. This illusion is shattered when her boyfriend delivers her worst nightmare. The idea of losing her line, "Hope for the Future", and being fired by Steffy for the second time is a nightmare scenario for her.
