We are dropping this gem in your feed during our holiday break because we could not wait to share our fabulous conversation with Tanya Saracho! Tanya is a playwright and television writer who currently serves as creator, showrunner, and executive producer of the critically-acclaimed series “Vida” on Starz. Named one of “TV Scribes to Watch” by Variety in 2018, Tanya most recently received the Rising Star award at the Outfest Legacy Awards. “Vida” won the GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Comedy Series, the series also won the Audience Award at the 2018 SXSW Film Festival, and made its season two premiere as an Official Selection of the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival. Honestly there were way more awards and honors I could have shared with you all. But Basically, Tanya is a boss and in addition to Vida, she’s got a few other things cooking that maybe she’ll speak to a little later. She’s originally from Sinaloa, Mexico and grew up along the Texas border. She now lives here in Los Angeles and we are so grateful she took the time to tell us more about her career and what's in store for season three of VIDA!
