In 2010, human remains were found on Gilgo Beach, located on the south shore of Long Island, New York. In total, 10 sets of remains would eventually be uncovered. Police were unable to find the perpetrator or perpetrators and the cases went cold. In 2022, a multi-agency task force was created specifically to investigate the cases using updated technology - and the primary suspect in ALL of the cases was arrested in July 2023.
