About the Speaker:

Mary Mahoney, MSN, RN, CWOCN, CFCN, has been a nurse for more than 35 years and certified WOC nurse for over 25 years with experience in acute, outpatient, and home care. Her current clinical practice is based at UnityPoint at Home in Iowa, where she works with a team of WOC nurses to provide consultation for patients and education to clinicians in homecare and hospice in a large healthcare system using telehealth technology. She is adjunct professor at WEB WOC Nursing Education Program. She has served on numerous WOCN Society committees in the Iowa Affiliate and at the National level. She is past board member and President of the Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Certification Board (WOCNCB®). She has authored posters for WOCNext, the WOCN Society’s national conference, and articles for the Journal of Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing (JWOCN®).
