Sometimes pain just makes the pleasure that much sweeter and that’s the case with this almost-lost episode “Guerilla Filmaking” (Original airdate February 6th, 2002. Written by Julia Rask and directed by Jonathan Kasdan). We had to brave the sting of rerecording an episode to bring you the joy of our white hot rage re Wilder as predator and to unpack the true birth of our beloved OT3. We also get back into the magical world of film and making art with the whole gang which is Fun. Not fun? Getting set up for next week’s ep by manic pixie dream ghost Joey. If you want a close encounter with the beyond, Follow us on instagram (@dawsonscreeps) and twitter (@dawsons_creeps). Our antiracism doc is linked on insta and our Spotify playlist Dawson’s Creeps - Do You Want to Dance Tomorrow is, like, so cinematic.

Dearest listeners,
Unfortunately, due to a very painful and traumatic recording snafu, we won’t be able to get Dawson’s Creeps: Season 5, Episode 14 to you until next week (after we, you know, re-record it). Please accept our sincere apologies and know that we’ll pick up with our Cape Cod heroes and all their madcap antics next week. Pinky swear.
In the meantime, guess what!! We’re finally taking some steps to transform our non-existent Patreon in an EXTANT one. Thats right, the missus (Gabby) and I are launching a Patreon! When starting a new venture, we always save up a few episodes before launch, which we burn through almost immediately with absolute glee. We were planning on getting a couple episodes of our future Patreon content “in the can” before we really kicked this thing into gear, however, with there not being a new episode this week, we’ve decided to share this first Patreon episode with you all 100% free of charge.
This week, we’ll be talking about Yellowjackets, a recent 10-episode horror/dark comedy addition to Showtime’s catalog. The series is defined thusly by the all-seeing orb, Wikipedia: “In 1996, a team of New Jersey high school soccer players travels to Seattle for a national tournament. While flying over Canada, their plane crashes deep in the wilderness and the remaining team members are left to survive for nineteen months. The series chronicles their attempts to survive while also tracking their current lives in 2021.”
We know this is very different from our usual content, so if this isn’t your thing and you have to miss this episode, we totally understand! This podcast is still about Dawson’s Creek and nothing else, we’ll only sharing content about other media over on Patreon. We’ll be back, same Joey Potter time, same Joey Potter channel, next week.
If this episode does sound good to you, we hope you’ll consider joining! We’ll be providing more information in the coming few weeks as we get come content ready for you. Either way, please enjoy this week’s special episode where we tackle Showtime’s “Yellowjackets.”

Get ready to hear some spooky tall tales Creeps because we’re recounting “Four Scary Stories” (Original airdate December 12th, 2001. Written by Jed Seidel and directed by Krishna Rao). We ponder if K Williamson has a “thing” about potential incest and why this mysterious epsiode drifts unmoored through time and space.
