The siblings are in a better mood after their therapy session and they wrap up ASOUE. Candice pulls out her tin foil hat that has been seeing a lot of action recently and proposes her conspiracy theories about Mr. Poe running the mafia and how Epstein Island is actually the end of this series. We rate the book, ask Lemony Snicket questions, and play Read it like Reddit where important questions come up such as: On a scale of 1-Home Alone, how absurd is this book? Do you like how Violet escaped the law on the technicality of writing with her left hand? And more!

In part two, Candice, Chrissy, and Sam practice some method acting, a term which here means "feeling as sad as the three siblings they are reading about." We map our family onto the characters in the book and we're 0/4 on mapping the same characters, but in the end, we agree our oldest brother is Count Samlof.
