Welcome back to Part 3 of our 4 Part series into John Scalzi's Starter Villain. No time has passed since the sisters started Part 2 & but Starter Villain's plot is finally picking up as Charlie has his first business meeting with Till (AKA Morrison). Charlie's wits are put to the test as he sniffs out the false success of nepo-babies that run the villain world, shows his ally-ship to women as he stands up for Till being competent enough to push a red button, and sees his cat-spies in action.

Chrissy gives her most authentic reaction to this segment as she didn't reach Chapter 17 which is where everything important & interesting happens

The girlies waste no time getting into Part 2 of John Scalzi's Starter Villain. While not a lot happens in the book, aside from Charley going to Volcano Island to sit in an awkward HR powerpoint on how to be villain-y, dolphins who wish to unionize, & more cats using computers to speak, the sisters wonder why the humor looks so good on paper but seems to fall flat when reading.

Nearly 2/3s of the way through the book, this novel could be summarized so far as man attends a work orientation followed by a work conference.

Welcome to our inaugural episode of John Scalzi's Starter Villain. The sister's are in the same zip code as Chrissy makes her journey to her new home. Even though the girlies tested mic's for well over an hour, it was to no avail and the audio quality of this episode is not up to our usual snuff (sorry!)

In this final segment of our journey to TJ Klune's, "House in the Cerulean Sea," the girlies wrap up with the wholesome conclusion of Linus' journey to find a home.
