What do you mean we’re halfway done with TOG🤯

This series has flown by and we hope you’re enjoying it as much as we are!

Coming up, we’re reading Yesteryear, By Caro Claire Burke, which will air on Monday, September 21st, and then we’ll pick back up again with TOG, Queen of Shadows, which will air on Monday, October 5th!

We promise to return to our voting schedule, however, Kaitlyn and Kendra are both taking some maternity leave, and in order to continue our rhythm of two books a month, we’ve had to plan ahead for these next few months by preselecting books.

Happy 100 Books!

We cannot believe this is our 100th book as a bookclub! Thank you for reading along with us, we are so grateful for each and every one of you!

We thought, there’s no better way to celebrate our bookclub and to try to capture the end of summer vibes than to go with a classic, Beach Read, By Emily Henry!

For a debut novel, we did have a silly time. However, we’re both still trying to figure out how something can be simultaneously so under and overwritten.

Planning on keeping the book around for a week or two and then sending it back to the attic.

If you’ve been with us since season one, you’ll remember that one of our first books was The Midnight Library, By Matt Haig, so naturally we HAD to read his next Midnights release!

And honestly, it’s a toss up between the two!

And lastly, we’ve been working on a surprise! While preparing for Kaitlyn’s maternity leave we’ve been reading and recording episodes for the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas! Our episode for book one will air on Monday, July 13th and the rest of the series will be sprinkled in through out the rest of the year! So if you haven’t read it before or are looking for an excuse to do a reread, pick up your copies or place your holds at your libraries! We can’t wait to share this adventure with you!

If you ignore the romance, it was actually a really enjoyable book, unfortunately, this book is a romance, so there’s that…

And while typically we’re suckers for a dual timeline, in this case it lead to us wanting to be abandoned in the midst of a world war instead of reading the romance between Georgia and Noah.

All of that to say, we are nervous for the future of The Empyrean Series.
