This is the last episode of season 2 and I am excited to end the season talking about something we all experience and find challenging, especially in 2020 with COVID - sharing the mental load with your partner. I am joined by my husband, Janne Kyttanen, to discuss openly and honestly the journey to finding OUR balance as working parents. It hasn't been easy and we have made our share of mistakes, but one thing has always been important - which remains to be the glue that holds us together, or sometimes tears us apart - communication.
In this episode, we share the different approaches for having this discussion and which one leads to better results. We look briefly at how our childhood experiences shape how we view the roles (consciously or subconsciously) and the importance of rewiring our brains as a result. We also look at relevant discussions going on in the media to shed light on the fact that there isn't anyone, whether a famous celebrity or the President of the United States, who doesn't face these struggles. We also recommend a few tips and tricks that we rely on in order to help us get closer to 50/50.
And if you listen until the very end, you will find out what Janne (and maybe a lot of men) really want for Christmas. I am certain the answer won't surprise you but it might slightly irritate you. Ladies, keep an open mind and have fun with this episode. The ultimate goal is that you are inspired and encouraged to continue following your passions around motherhood and it starts by working on what that means for you and your relationship - together, breaking down any personal, cultural or societal barriers that stand in your way.

This episode with guest Kamapala Chukwuka is all about something most women I know can relate to: low self esteem/confidence. The feeling of imposter syndrome, losing yourself in what others think of you or even doubting yourself and your capabilities which leads to playing small, placing too much power on external things and takes us further away from we really are. This is why Kamapala encourages women, and the youth, to get back at who they were at birth, at the source is pure love. It starts with learning how to turn your perceived weaknesses into strengths and how you talk to yourself. Kampala says we are all born with confidence, we are all born perfect. Which is why Kampala is on a mission to be a voice equipping young people with skills they need to build better relationships and enterprises. “To help them see themselves as the leaders they already are.”
About Kamapala
Kamapala Chukwuka is a mum of 3 boys. A Certified life coach dedicated to empowering women and young people find their greatness and live it out daily. She is also a motivational speaker, author, branding & publishing consultant. About Kamapala’s book

Florence Scovel Shinn once said "The game of life is a game of boomerangs. Our thoughts, deeds and words return to us sooner or later with astounding accuracy." Still most of us continue to play the game with the same mindset, wondering why we aren't living the life we truly desire. So how do you overcome this? By understanding the game and taking responsibility for the power you have within yourself to create the life you desire.
In this episode, I chat all about the power and struggles we have in this creative process with boss mama and friend, Reverend Liza Marquez. Liza is currently leading an 8-week program on this topic and shares that the biggest aha moment for people is “When they are asked to dream big and they realize how their limitations lie within themselves.” She says "this is a great realization because when we know our limiting beliefs it gives us a starting point to where we need to begin to do the work."
Liza has been determined to find her own limiting beliefs which prevent her from dreaming big ever since her first visit to the Agape International Spiritual Center. This is also what prompted her spiritual path and to discover her life purpose and calling. Tune in to hear more about her limiting beliefs and how she was able to overcome. We also talk about many of the more challenging moments of boss mama life and the importance of finding your ebb and flow.
About Liza
Liza Marquez is a Reverend of New Thought Leadership and is currently studying to receive her Doctorate of Consciousness Studies from the Emerson Institute in Los Angeles. She is also a mama of two remarkable teenagers.

It is time to get the LOVE you WANT ladies! I’m joined by love and relationship coach, Ozzie Osborne, to talk about how relationships are all about feeling cherished and how to allow that space in your relationship. If you are ready to dig deep and learn how to balance your masculine and feminine energy with your partner you won’t want to miss this. In this episode, Ozzie and I talk about the Netflix series “Emily in Paris” and how it’s exactly what this means for romanticizing being swept away by the “prince on the white horse,” how to understand your man and that a healthy relationship is all about balance but it really starts with YOU!
About Ozzie
Ozzie Osborne is a heart and mind coach, she exclusively developed, her method known as the RISE program. It is a program designed to align the heart and mind for better relationships. She is passionate about coaching people who tend to lean more on their mind (masculine energy) in order to align their heart (feminine energy) to redefine masculinity, so men and women can RISE together. Ozzie discovered her life purpose and passion through the darkness of divorce. After relying more on her masculine traits since childhood she learned that in order to have a better relationship with herself and others, she needed to learn how to better align her heart (feminine) and mind (masculine) in order to RISE above the patterns of behavior that no longer served her.
About The RISE Program
This episode with Ozzie we talk all about how to align your masculine and feminine with your partner in order to get the love you want. This all stems from her coaching method called the RISE program.
The RISE program stands for “Recognize,” “Identify,” “Surrender,” “Elevate.” Over the course of 30 days she works with her clients to acknowledge that we all have both feminine and masculine energy and how it each shows up in areas of life where there might be a disconnect. From there she allows her clients to let go of the energies that are no longer serving them and elevate both energies in a way that aligns with your higher self.

It is time to embrace your imperfectly perfect journey. I’m joined by Sarah Flynn to talk about her journey and transformation from the wounded feminine to the divine feminine and her journey of womb healing. If you have ever felt like there was a deeper level of understanding that you were ready to tap into it might be time to call on divine goddess energy. In this episode, Sarah and I talk about what it is like to release generations of pain and trauma stored in your womb in order to step into the truth of who you are as a divine goddess.
About Sarah Flynn
Sarah is a Spiritual Intuitive and Light Channel who helps women activate their divine gifts and step into their power by remembering the truth of who they are. She believes that every woman has their own unique voice, gifts, talents, and passions to share with this world and that when they tap into that, they fulfill their purpose, achieve their highest potential, and light up the path, leading the way for so many others.
About Womb Healing
This episode with Sarah is about her journey of healing her wounded feminine energy. After struggling with reproductive health concerns she began her awakening journey which led her down the path to discover womb healing. Many women spend their life disconnected with the power that their womb beholds and instead, unknowingly walk around storing fear, pain, and trauma from their past within them. By participating in a womb healing you start down a path of remembrance of this energy, this universe, and this portal that we as women hold within us to birth and bring new life into this world. It is not only for creating new life but also to create new visions and ideas.

It is time to embrace your imperfectly perfect journey. I’m joined by Molly Chanson to talk about her journey and struggle with divorce and addiction that lead her to her calling of integrating writing and yoga. If you have ever found yourself in a low spot wondering what good it could possibly do for you, you are not alone, Molly says, “I don’t think we go low just to stay there, or to be punished. I think we go low in order to understand our ability to rise.”
In this episode, Molly and I talk about what it is like to learn to be compassionate with yourself in order to grow.
About Molly Chanson
Molly is a yoga instructor, writer, and educator. She teaches people how to use the power of yoga to get in touch with their body and emotions, in order to heal and transform from the inside out. She is also co-founder of Yogi and The Writer.
About Compassionate Yoga
This episode with Molly is about her journey as well as about the style of yoga she teaches that helped her through tough times, compassionate yoga and writing. Compassionate yoga is learning to listen to yourself. This can be done through poses, such as listening to yourself when you can stay a little longer and push yourself further but also about listening to when you need to back off. This can also teach us practices in life when to act the same way. It is about accepting who you are right now and being curious about who you are in order to learn more so you can grow. It is about acting in alignment with who you are versus acting in alignment with who others want you to be or who you think society wants you to be. Not only can yoga act as an exercise for your body but it can also transform your spirit.

Her whole life she wanted freedom, money flow and to feel truly elated every day. At 33 she went from jobless, single, in debt with no idea what to do, to a series of fabulous temp jobs, a dream job, a best friend, a trip to LA for a VIP Manifesting wealth seminar, an abundance of money, her own business, a freedom lifestyle, and the love of her life. Talk about a 180! But it wasn’t always easy she had to let go of situations and people that weren’t good for her, break long-standing habits, change her beliefs, invest in herself, and push past many comfort zones. It was all worth it and now she is passionate about helping you learn how to master your vibration, connect to your higher-self and receive aligned guidance to get everything you want.
About Manifesting
You have the ability to manifest anything you desire. Simply put, manifesting is co-creating what you want with the Universe. The power to manifest lies within you. You just have to learn how to use it and that’s part of what Lucy and I talk about this week.
Whatever you think about, you are manifesting into your life. If you constantly think about what you don’t want to have, or negative emotions, then that is exactly what you will manifest. But by learning the secrets of manifesting, you can begin to change your thoughts and your life. You can remain focused on what you want to happen, boss mama!
