Melissa is in an openly gay relationship. From the point she developed an interest in dating she knew she was attracted to women and not men. In fact, she is one of the only gay friends I have ever had that never attempted to live a straight lifestyle. As a result she has a lifetime of experiences from different social climates that have shaped who she is today. She bravely shares her life story and gives us a little insight into the struggles that the gay people around us are facing.
