The Willard City Council voted unanimously Thursday to appoint Diana Mund as interim city recorder, effective immediately. The appointment authorizes Mund to carry out statutory duties of the recorder’s office, including signing city documents. A Perry teenager is facing a first-degree murder charge in connection with a late-night shooting in unincorporated Weber County that left one man dead, a 5-year-old girl wounded and two other victims injured. Utah’s valley locations have, in general, had a strong start to the 2026 water year. October precipitation was 233% of normal and November’s was 132% of normal, with two and a half inches of rainfall observed at our SCAN sites during that time.
