Welcome to Week 2 of my BQ or Bust journey as I train for the Chicago Marathon with one goal in mind: qualifying for the Boston Marathon. If you want an inside look at how a running coach tackles marathon training, you're in the right place.
In this vlog, I take you through a very real-life training week—one that didn't go exactly to plan. I was in Cincinnati for the 4th of July, the week got a little chaotic, and I didn't hit every run I wanted to. But we're not chasing perfection—we're building momentum.
This week's workouts included: 🏃♀️ 5 x 5 minutes at threshold pace with 90 seconds recovery 🏃♀️ A long run with 9 miles at conversational pace + 3 strong miles to finish
