Hello darlings! Two very exciting things on the agenda this week: first up, our beautifully talented friend Liv Bettison's news and politics podcast, The Fuse, which breaks down political opinions for students in order for them to become more educated and informed to participate in conversations. Her Instagram @the_fuse_podcast is also an incredibly digestible place to keep up with what's going on so please check both out if you haven't already. Secondly, Charlotte has a poetry eBook coming out on 10th May called why we should stop apologising for stained bedsheets and higher standards. A feminist collection focusing on the female experience, her eBook will be available to purchase from www.charlottebeardmorepoetry.com with 50% of all profits going to two women's charities.
Then it's on to this week's hot topic of productivity guilt: as a society that glamourises being busy and maximising your time to be as productive as possible, are we consequently romanticising a generation of burnout? And with the power of social media allowing us to see everyone's every move, can we really be surprised that we feel guilty when we take some time out?
Thanks for listening lovelies, follow us on Instagram @housewineandwellness for updates, share this episode with a friend if you fancy it, we'll see you same time next week. <3
