Jana Hocken worked as an engineer with global giant Toyota, and saw the value of their remarkable ‘lean thinking’, continuous improvement practices and culture. Since 2017 Jana has helped to bring lean concepts to farming, implementing lean on her family’s 1,000 cow dairy farm in the Manawatu.
