The ACC is adding three new member institutions in conference realignment for the 2024-25 college basketball season: Stanford and Cal from the former Pac-12 as well as SMU from the AAC.

Today we break down each of the three new programs, starting with Stanford where the Cardinal hired former Washington State coach Kyle Smith to replace Jerod Haase. Can he get this team back to the Big Dance, despite losing a ton of talent via the transfer portal?

Across the way in Berkeley, coach Mark Madsen is hoping to keep growing a Cal program that was completely in the dumps under coach Mark Fox. After adding Mady Sissoko, Andrej Stojakovic, and others via the portal, are the Golden Bears a threat in the ACC?
