For this episode of Brewstilled, Barrel Aged Ghost Stories continue. For this edition of Barrel Aged Ghost Stories, we’re venturing to Alcatraz Island in San Franciso. A former federal penitentiary, Alcatraz is now a popular tourist destination attracting over a million visitors a year. Yet, Alcatraz is rumored to be the site of multiple ghost who are said to haunt the island. There are reports of the ghost of former inmates, the presence of spirits, the glowing eyes and more. Alcatraz also has a history of being a prison island long before it became a federal penitentiary. Is Alcatraz Island the site of ghosts, hauntings and the gateway to the spirt world or is it all a legend? I’ll be discussing this here on Brewstilled with a Barrel Aged Abbey-style Golden Ale from River North Brewing as the beer pairing. It’s all here on Brewstilled. Tune in and get spooked!

For this episode of Brewstilled, I’ll be recapping the Monday Night game for week 4 for the 2024 NFL Season. We saw the Detroit Lions defeat the Seattle Seahawks for an epic win as they gave the Seahawks their first loss. The Lions showed creativity on their offense and Jared Goff had a great night. Could Jared Goff elevate himself to MVP status? The Lions though do still face challenges ahead as they’re not the only contender in the NFC Conference. The 49ners and the Minnesota Vikings are amongst the other NFC contenders. Along with the Monday game, I’ll discuss other NFL season updates with the New York Jets and the Dallas Cowboys. It’s all here on Brewstilled!

For this episode of Brewstilled, it’s a recap of week 4 of the 2024 NFL Season and for the House of the Lombardi. For week 4, we had a rather dismal weekend with low scoring games and some of the House of The Lombardi teams losing games they should have won. We saw The Jets lose to the Broncos and Aaron Rodgers had a bad game. Should the Jets be concerned about the rest of their season and their offense? The Falcons won a close game with the Saints in their first game with Tampa Bay looming close. Tampa Bay beat the Eagles as they continue to be in control of the NFC South. The question is, for how much longer? The Jaguars lost to the Texans who now sink to 0-4. When will the Jaguars get their first win? Is Bill Belichick the solution in Jacksonville? The Rams also lost and they could face a rough season. The Raiders won against the Browns after a week that included a team meeting. The Chargers lost to the Chiefs in another close game. Should the Chargers worry about their offense? For the Sunday game it appears the Baltimore Ravens rejuvenated their season. Can the Ravens continue this momentum? All this and more will be discussed on Brewstilled with a Märzen style beer from Track 7 as the beer pairing.

For this episode of Brewstilled, I’ll be recapping the 2024 NFL Season Week 4 game between the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants. Being a member of the House of The Lombardi, the Cowboys won this game and for now saved their season. Yet, for how long did they save their season? The Cowboys are 2-2 as they won this game for an ugly win. Micha Parsons left early for an ankle injury. How bad will this injury be? Lingering issues also remain for the Cowboys who also have a tough path ahead for the next 5 game, three of those games being on the road. So where do the Cowboys go from here in the House of Lombardi? I’ll be discussing it here on Brewstilled.

For this edition of the Brewstilled, it’s a return of Barrel Aged Ghost Stories. With Spooky Season now upon us and the arrival of October looming, it’s time to tell a barrel aged ghost story over a barrel aged beer. In this first edition of Barrel Aged Ghost Stories for 2024, we’re exploring the Bell Witch. The Bell Witch or also known as the Bell Witch Haunting is a legend from Southern United States folklore, focused on the 19th-century Bell family who lived in northwest Robertson County, Tennessee. Some accounts say the Bell Witch was also clairvoyant who was also capable of crossing long distances with superhuman speed with the ability to Bilocate. According to the story, the Bell Witch wreaked havoc on the Bell Family and on those who crossed her path. It’s said to be folklore, but many do believe the Bell Witch Story actually occurred. So let’s explore the Bell Witch story here on Brewstilled as we kick off Barrel Aged Ghost Stories for 2024. A potent Barrel Aged Barleywine from River North Brewing in Denver Colorado is on tap for the beer pairing.

For this episode of Brewstilled, I’ll be recapping Week 3 for the 2024 NFL Season and for the House of the Lombardi. For week 3, we saw the Lombardi teams go almost even in terms of wins and losses. The Chargers got their first loss against the Pittsburgh Steelers in where Justin Herbet left the game early for an ankle injury. How bad is the Justin Herbet injury? Tampa Bay also lost their first game in their loss to the Denver Broncos. The Raiders also suffered a surprise loss in their game against the Carolina Panthers. Yet, it appears there is tension within the Raiders organization. Could Devante Adams be on his way out with the Raiders? The Rams got their first win in their game against the 49ners. Did the Rams reset their season from this win? The Lion won a close game against the Arizona Cardinals. The Dallas Cowboys and the Baltimore Ravens played each other in a must win for both teams. The Ravens won giving them their first win. As for the Cowboys, they’re in trouble. The question is how bad is it? For the Atlanta Falcons they lost a close game to Kanas City. I’ll be discussing all this here on Brewstilled with an Oktoberfest style Festbier from Logoff Brewing as the beer pairing. It’s all here on Brewstilled!

For this edition of Brewstilled, it’s a recap of the Week 2 Monday Night Football game between the Atlanta Falcons and the Philadelphia Eagles. In this game the Atlanta Falcons might have altered the curse of their 2024 NFL Season. Along with it, Kirk Cousins lives to fight another day. The Falcons are keeping pace with their divisional rival The Tampa Bay Buccaneers as both teams will play each other in the coming weeks. The NFC South could also be a division on the rise. I’ll be discussing it all here on Brewstilled.

For this edition of Brewstilled, it’s a recap of week 2 for the 2024 NFL Season and the House of the Lombardi. In week 2, the Lombardi teams were almost even in terms of wins and losses. We also had 2 cross matchups with 2 games featuring Lombardi teams. We saw the Raiders achieve an upset win against the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens are now 0-2, is that a cause for concern? As for the Raiders will they surprise people this year? The Cowboys lost to the Saints and it could show signs of concern for the remainder of the season. The Jaguars lost to the Browns. What is the problem with the Jacksonville Jaguars? The Chargers are now 2-0 after their win against the Panthers. Will the Chargers and the Raiders make the AFC West more competitive? Tampa Bay and Detroit faced off resulting in a win for Tampa Bay. Is Baker Mayfield already a legitimate MVP contender? Can the Lions avoid close games? Just like the Cowboys, the Rams lost in a blow out in their game to the Cardinals. Are the Rams also in trouble? All this and more will be discussed here on Brewstilled with a Dry Stout from the Solano Garage Brewers as the beer pairing. It’s all here on Brewstilled!

For this episode of Brewstilled, I’ll be closing out the first chapter of the 2024 NFL season, by recapping the Jets and 49ners Monday night game in Aaron Rogers return to the NFL. For this game in the House of The Lombardi, the New York Jets got off to a rough start for their 2024 NFL Season campaign. This game was a lopsided loss for the Jets as there now appear to be concerns for their season. The Haason Reddick holdout appears it will now need to get resolved soon for the Jets have a boost on their defense. Cautious early play calling was also an issue for the Jets. Where do the Jets go from here? I’ll be discussing that and more here on Brewstilled!
