The Carolina Panthers may be without its top player come Sunday when they travel to Atlanta to face the division rival Falcons. Two-time Pro Bowl outside linebacker Brian Burns is currently staging a "hold-in" as negotiations for an extension have stalled between Burns' camp and the organization. Burns began this tactic last Thursday as he wasn't present on the practice field but was in the building for meetings that day. Things came to a head on Monday, when Burns was absent for the team's first walkthrough of Week 1, calling into doubt whether he'd be on the field on Monday.
