  • The Way We Board Planes Makes No Sense, Here's Why
Why do boarding and de-boarding take so long? Why does a plane need multiple engines if it can fly with just one? And is the “black” box really black? An airplane is a complex machine, ingeniously designed to the very last detail. Yet, some things about them still make no sense.
Did you know, for example, that you can open the plane bathroom from the outside? Or that pilots fall asleep, and it’s okay? Or that oxygen masks don’t last long? Yup, the safety instructions always tell you how to use them in case of a sudden loss in cabin pressure. But they don't tell you the oxygen in that mask will only last 15 minutes! Let's figure out!

  • 25 Airplane Small Details You Haven't Noticed Yet
Why is it faster flying from west to east? The fastest commercial flight ever was in February 2019, when an airplane flew at the speed of 801 mph. And that was only thanks to the direction it was heading in: east. By the way, passengers there also rapidly lost weight! What? The airplane diet? Is that a thing? All in due time, though. How about learning some mind-blowing facts about airplanes?
What are the safest seats on a plane? Why don't planes have parachutes on board? Why does your plane suddenly decide not to land straight away but make a circle around the airport? Can an autopilot land a plane by itself? About this and much more you will learn from the video!

  • That's Why Piggy Banks Are Pigs
It's always cool to learn new things, though we rarely waste our time answering ”why" questions. Why are chili peppers hot? Why do we collect money in “piggy” banks? Why is pizza round but the box is square? Why are most erasers pink?
Humanity has been asking this question since the beginning. Our brain starts working before birth and its development never stops. In order to keep the brain function normal and healthy for our entire life, we need to feed new knowledge to our grey matter. So here are the most interesting answers to the questions about everything at once.

  • 13 Ordinary Things Pilots Can't Do on Board
What is being a pilot like? Commercial airline pilots have loads of perks: an astonishing office view, an opportunity to see the planet from the altitude of 35,000 ft, everyone's respect, and admiration. But there are some seemingly innocent things pilots can't enjoy while flying a plane.
Did you know, for example, that pilots rarely know who they're going to fly with until they take their place in the cockpit? Or that there's a "sterile cockpit rule" that prohibits pilots from doing anything but controlling the plane until it climbs to a higher altitude? Or that most commercial airline pilots can only wear a mustache at the most? Intrigued? So here’s the full list.

  • Dinosaurs Can Come Back in the Near Future
Could the dinosaurs ever come back? The idea that people could bring dinosaurs back someday is both exciting and scary. But it's no joke. Your childhood dream of a real-life Jurassic Park could actually come true in 30 years! And, yes, scientists were initially inspired by the famous movie. They wanted to find a mosquito stuck in amber and extract dinosaur DNA from it.
But real-world scientists came across a big problem: the oldest DNA sample they were able to get was only 1 million years old. “Only” because all the dinosaurs went extinct some 65 million years ago! So instead of looking for dinosaur DNA hanging out in the belly of an ancient mosquito, they decided to take DNA from the closest descendants of these reptilian giants.
