Imagine hiccuping for 68 years straight. A man named Charles Osborne had quite a funny way of talking that he developed to hide the sound of his endless hiccups. Poor guy had been hiccupping nonstop starting from June 13, 1922, for over 68 years! There are a few different theories about what might have caused his hiccups. When you see mold on your food, your first instinct is to throw it away. But is mold always that terrible and dangerous for your health? There are at least 14 types of molds you can find in the woods, in your house, or even on your plate. They look weird and cool at the same time. What about the friendly food that’s moldy on purpose? Penicillium roqueforti is the blue cheese mold. And if Penicillium sounds familiar, that's because it does save lives, and I'm sure you heard about it before.
