There was a weird day in Paris when suddenly, all the clocks in the city stopped working at the same time! Back in the 19th century, Paris had a special master clock system that controlled all the public clocks. This master clock would send signals through wires to make sure every clock in the city showed the same time. One day, due to a technical glitch, the master clock system failed, causing every clock in Paris to freeze. It was a big deal because people relied on these clocks for trains, businesses, and daily life. Eventually, they fixed the system, but it showed how much the city depended on that one master clock!

South Korea has some unique rules that might seem totally strange to foreigners! For starters, there’s the “age system” where you’re automatically a year or two older than your international age. Public trash cans are super hard to find, so you often have to carry your garbage around with you until you get home. When pouring drinks for others, it's considered rude to do it with one hand—you have to use two! Tipping is also not a thing in South Korea, and people might even refuse it. Lastly, walking into someone’s home with your shoes on is a big no-no; everyone leaves their shoes at the door.

The Mariana Trench is the deepest part of the ocean, and it’s so extreme that even scientists hesitate to go back.
