In 2017, an oil and gas industry worker filmed a video and sent it to researcher Deborah Hatswell. It was recorded at a depth of about 2,700 ft during an investigation conducted by a remote-operated vehicle. At one point during the examination, the submarine came across the remains measuring almost 98 ft in length. The operator of the submarine was startled by the unexpected discovery. Could it have been the largest living being on Earth ever?
