Here's a cool trick for those who're planning to go on vacation: leave a coin in the freezer before leaving the house. Why? It's a great safety trick to find out if your food items are as fresh as when you left them... or maybe the power was out for long enough for the food to go really bad.
In this video I'm also gonna tell you how long different food items can last. You'll find out why fresh chicken can last longer than hamburger meats and beef - longer than sausages. A lot of life hacks for your freezer are coming your way! Some creative guys store their clothing in the freezer to eliminate moths or any potential lice. They even believe it's a better alternative to washing clothes...

  • What If We Sent Food to Space and Then Ate It
Things work differently in space: the gravity, vacuum and temperature all influence the objects in space. What if we decided to conduct an experiment and send food to space before eating it? We've prepared the most delicious garlic bread and it's ready to travel!
We get our weather balloon ready and launch the garlic bread to the sky. We wipe the tears from our cheeks as we watch it disappear beyond the clouds. The balloon will endure temperatures as cold as -90° C, meaning we'd better have a microwave on hand should it make its way back to us... Are you ready to witness this epic flight?

  • 17 Things Everyone Should Forget By Age 20
Coming of age and kissing your teenage years goodbye is an exciting step towards the whole new life that awaits you. It’s a good time to drop the extra weight that slows you down. Deciding which things are better left in the past might be easier than you think.
For example, do you really need all those dated magazines and comic books? Most likely, none of them will become an all-time classic worth millions of dollars for collectors. Even if one did, you wouldn’t be able to find it amongst the mess you have. And what about toys from childhood? They sure hold some good memories, so pick a couple of them that are the closest to you. Everything else is better left behind!

What ever became of them after this tragedy? Well, some of them went on to live long and incredible lives!

  • A Man Survived a Fall from Outer Space
The 20th century was full of awesome breakthroughs and historical events. But some of them stood out even from that incredible crowd. And one such event was the mission of Soyuz 5, which made huge headlines not only for its importance but for its amazing style — and its incredible landing.
Soyuz 5 was a Soviet spacecraft launched on January 15, 1969. Just like the U.S. space program, Soyuz had numbers for each of their spacecrafts, but Soyuz 5 had one peculiarity. It was sent to the orbit just a day after another craft, Soyuz 4, went there. They had one mission between the two of them: it was manned docking and transfer of the crew. If the mission had become a success, it would’ve been the first such feat performed in the history of humankind...

  • Why Steve Jobs Didn't Have a License Plate
What do you know about Steve Jobs, the legendary co-founder of Apple, who created one of the greatest gadgets of our time? Turns out, he was a man of mystery, and in the most literal sense of the word. Just think about it, he'd been driving a car around Silicon Valley without a license plate for years on end! That meant breaking the law, which requires all passenger vehicles to have tags.
Some believed that he did it just because he could. Call it a rebellious spirit if you want. Or maybe he wanted to protect his privacy by any means possible. Someone even came up with the theory that it was the font on the plate that he didn’t like. After all, he was a perfectionist in every way, so maybe he really thought an ugly plate would ruin his beautiful car.
