Pete and Russ were joined by friend of the pod Emilio Di Nello to review the weekend’s games and to look ahead to the latest intriguing encounter between Albion and Emilio’s beloved Fulham at Craven Cottage on Tuesday evening.
There’s Jesse Marsch (terrible spelling!!!), a typical dirty Leeds team, arrogance and delusion as usual but in the end it was another win for the good guys, thanks to some perfect Pascal placement following a glorious 13 pass move.
Can the run continue though, against the latest London hosts to try to prevent Albion sneaking home with the china and cutlery! Promises to be a gripping affair as the chaps attested.
Stand or fall! UTA! Thanks for coming to make up the numbers, Dirty Leeds! 😃😉

Yes folks, for the first time we’ve decided to double up our match day specials by having two in one episode. This one covers our delightful win at the London Stadium on Sunday plus our comfortable victory in Nailsworth on Wednesday night as we advanced to the next stage of the League Cup, despite a curry sauce atrocity!.
Russell was there for both, with some of the usual suspects and the bonus balls: the Albion Roar boys at the West Ham match. It’s all here!
Stand or fall! UTA! Bernard!!!!!!

Russ and Pete were delighted to welcome to the pod West Ham stalwart John Moncur to talk about his career in the game, Upton Park, what he’s up to now, his thoughts on the current West Ham team, his impressions of our exciting Albion side and to give us his prediction for Sunday’s encounter between our two teams.
Stand or fall! UTA! Will Albion’s unbeaten BUBBLE burst on Sunday?!

In this episode, Russell meets up with…Russell! The Geordie kind. There’s a post match special, chatting about the game followed by a separate interview with Ian “Harty“ Hart, talking about women’s footy, Newcastle and football in general.
Stand or fall! UTA! Howay The Despotivians!

In this episode, as the new season is just getting underway, Russ chatted with Littlehampton Town FC chairman Rob McAlees and Worthing FC matchday commentator and podcaster Peter Vale to revel in their clubs’ recent successes on the field culminating in promotions, how the summer preps had gone and their thoughts on their clubs’ respective prospects for the new campaigns at their new levels.
There’s also a brief focus on last season’s other major Sussex football success story Hastings United, who’ve elevated to The Isthmian Prem for this season.

Russell was at the match to bring you the thoughts and vibes from Albion’s first ever win at OLD Trafford (and first league ‘result’ from there at all since 1983), in his mini matchday special.
Then, back in Zoom Land, he caught up with fellow podcast stalwart Peter to get his first hand views from the game as the lads reviewed this delicious victory in more detail.
And this throughly deserved win, which The Albion cruised to in some style, came despite the best efforts of Paul Tierney and his hapless lino (away fans side of pitch), who’s conscious or unconscious bias - we don’t know, much less care which - failed to delivery yet another undeserved result against us for the thoroughly unlikeable Refchester United.
Stand or fall! UTA! Your city is blue!

Russ is joined by debutant Richie Mills from Sussex Live and re-joined by guest contributors Jack Phillips and Margaret Willis to run the rule over the summer window, the start of the EFL season, the glorious England Women’s triumph at The Euros (with some first hand experience in the house!) and of course preparations for Albion’s new campaign under the still bearded Graham Potter!
Stand or fall! UTA! It’s come home…yes, England women!!!!

Your host Russell Guiver was joined by guests contributors Andy Bravery and David Townsend, in welcoming to the pod for the first time a true Albion legend and cult hero, 70s goal machine and darling of the terraces Peter Ward.
Wardy talks us through his formative years as a football-playing (and window breaking) obsessive, his time with the two Albions of Burton and of course BHA, the Forest / Clough years, his time in The States and his thoughts on the current crop of trailblazing star players.
No.1 is Peter Ward….
Stand or fall! UTA! He shot, he scored, it must be Peter Ward, Peter Ward…Peter Ward!

Russ and a lesser spotted Pete - fresh from agreeing his new £350k pw contract Salah style - are joined by Albion-supporting sports writer Spencer Vignes to tell us more about the bad news that 70s playing legend Peter O’Sullivan has been seriously ill in hospital with a bleed to the brain. He’s on the slow road to recovery now but we ask if the club could be doing more for this Albion stalwart?
Also Spencer talks about his new up and coming book and we bring the Albion and general news up to date.
In Part 3 your intrepid hosts welcome author Stuart James Quigley to talk about his new book linking players related to the Premier League era covering all its members past and present.
Stand or fall! UTA! Stay strong, Sully!
