It’s back to The Glad for our second Euro 2020 (in 2021!) episode, in which Russ, Peter and Andy Bravery met up to chew the fat over the second round of European games (there or thereabouts), in the company of Peter’s friend Lau/wrence(?)

We cover all the latest news regarding The Albion, football news in general and the European Championships in particular, including how we think England will fare in tonight‘s final group match, in which progress in the tournament is confirmed but positions are very much up for grabs.

In this episode, we invited onto the show our Canadian friend Bradley Sullivan, known as “Sully”, who told us how he got into the Albion many years ago, about his affection for Guy Butters, Anthony Knockaert and Glenn Murray, what he thinks of the current incarnation of the club and he also gives us his take on the Euros so far, as we review the first round of matches in the group stage.

Also talking Euros is our Spurs friend Oli, who joins us in the latter part of the episode to give his views on the early stages of the tournament, but also a particular insight into the traumatic effects of being in an ground when a player collapses, as unfortunately befell Denmark’s Christian Eriksen at the weekend.

At the end we sum up the news in brief and mention the freshly published PL fixtures for the forthcoming season.

Albion came up trumps, FINALLY toppling ‘The Cityzens’ (3-2) in an emotional and dramatic night down in dear ole Brighty.

5 goals were scored in total by the teams on Tuesday, so 5 guys tried to hit the target in this week’s pod squad: Russ, Pete, Andy K, Andy B and Richard.

BDB spindled his way to glory with the comeback-completing third goal as Albion bossed possession like no-one has done to a Pep side before, the atmosphere was rocking from start to finish and all was well (except for the pies selling out!!! - Russ blames Andy K for that!).

Say, I don’t suppose we could catch that soon-to-be-Royless bunch of chancers Crippled Phallus after all, could we??!!

Pete and Russ were rejoined by Albion podcaster and blogger Charlie Haffenden to preview the game between the world’s best team and Man City! ;)

Russ also caught up with Man City match day presenter and staunch City fan Natalie Pike, to talk her love for her club, the wonderland that fans are currently experiencing and how the team for the game is anyone’s guess. She also wistfully reminisces about Maine Road.
