The pod welcomed back Andy Bass and gave a debut to Jack Phillips this week to continue our ranting and further reflection on the past 2-3 weeks of greedy snorting at the football trough by the vulture capitalists and would-be assassins of the sport (we’ll never, EVER calm down about this vile assault on our beautiful game!), of major protests and staunch opposition to the proposals, the scheme’s collapse and its chief perpetrator, Florentino ‘Utterly Out Of Touch With Reality’ Perez’s continued delusional ramblings.

Meantime, Russ reveals that he’s found someone seemingly sane(?) who is actually fully in favour of this abomination, FFS!

In this episode we also discuss the proposed Premier League charter and other possible structure changes and most importantly give a glowingly appreciative nod to our triumphant U17s who bagged The Premier League Cup no less. Well played lads!!!

Yet another draw but also yet another clean sheet (50% ratio of success in that regard for Bobby Sanch aka El Pantera) and another step towards confirming our place in next season’s title race ;)

We could have nabbed it towards the end but a point was a fair result and in what is an incredibly busy an eventful week we only had one option for getting this episode out and that was to record views immediately post match on our Zoom Terrace chat. Lucky for us then that The Gent, our northern correspondent Alastair Jones and pod debutante Tim Palmer were on hand to proffer their opinions on the match and also on the crumbling PR Disasterclass so effectively illustrated by The Dirty Dozen, those blood-sucking anti-football leeches who’s sneaky, clandestine conspiracy to assassinate the game was scuppered and then obliterated by the might of the football community. Oh how we are revelling in its collapse and demise!

So it looks like they’ve finally done it. The vile, greedy gluttons that have snaffled control of some of our traditional giants (and Chelsea and Man City!) have announced the formulation of a twelve team European league comp that from the end of this podcast onwards will only be referred to by us as The Dirty Dozen League (DDL). They call it ‘super’. We don’t! It’s the very antithesis of super.

These notes pretty convincingly plot spoil our opinions but have a listen anyway as BRP’s Russell links up with TogetherBHA’s Josh Goldsmith to unleash our mega rant (or should that be Super rant?!!). Please note this episode contains some swearing - not TOO much though!

Late last week we sat down via Zoom to chat with Tony Brown & Kirsty Stewart, who have a keen interest in each other’s clubs as well as their own! Tony talks us through his background as a Chelsea fan and how he came to be a long-standing member of Seagulls Over London, despite his Stamford Bridge allegiance, while Kirsty delves into her Albion backstory from her earlier days in Eastbourne to being a fully paid up paper season ticket brandishing member at the dear ole Goldstone Ground.
