Brilliant Perspectives

Every situation is primarily about who God wants to be for you, and each circumstance is an opportunity to encounter new levels of favor and faith in the Lord. If we believed our favor was always present, how would that change our relationship with the Lord?

Key Scriptures:

+Ephesians 3:17-19. [...] so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Key Scripture:

What might be true of our negative circumstances is not the truth of who we are in Jesus. Only the Truth can set us free and produce lasting transformation into the image of Christ. Join us in today’s episode as we discover how wisdom creates a new awareness of what is possible with God.

Key Scriptures:

+ Colossians 3:1-4. If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.

+ 2 Corinthians 3:18. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

+ John 14. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever. The Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. […] the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

We were created with the capacity to magnify. We will either magnify the negatives, or we will choose to magnify the true nature of God. What are you currently empowering with your thoughts? Join us this week as we learn to exchange negative thinking for God’s thoughts and overcome being double-minded.

Key Scriptures:

+ James 1:5-8. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But he must ask in faith without any doubting. For the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, he is driven and tossed by the wind. For that man ought not to expect that he would receive anything from the Lord being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

+ Psalm 57:7. My heart is fixed, O Lord. My heart is fixed.

+ Colossians 3:2. Set your mind on things above, not on the things that are on earth.

+ Philippians 2:13. For it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.
