Growing up in Paris, Marie Sallois spent her childhood surrounded by sport.

But it was a fateful moment 20 years ago that led her to walk through the doors of the International Olympic Committee. Now, Marie is the Corporate and Sustainable Development Director at the IOC.

Her role is as vital as ever with the 2024 Paris Games becoming the first Olympics to reach full gender parity in the number of athletes competing.
