Michelle Obama returned to her hometown of Chicago to deliver a endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris during the Democratic National Convention (DNC).

The former first lady didn't hold punches when it came to Pres. Trump: “His limited narrow view of the world made him feel threatened by the existence of two hard-working, highly educated, successful people – who happen to be Black... Wait, I want to know – who’s going to tell him that the job he’s currently seeking might just be one of those ‘Black jobs’?” she said.

Pres. Joe Biden went off script during his DNC speech: 

"Those, those protesters out in the street, they have a point," Biden said of anti-Israel protesters who marched on the convention calling for an end to the U.S. support of Israel. "A lot of innocent people are being killed on both sides."

"We're working around the clock," Biden said. "To end the civilian suffering of the Palestinian people and finally, finally, finally deliver a ceasefire and end this war."

The first night of the Democratic National Convention focused on women speakers: Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC), Hillary Clinton & Gov. Kathy Hochul (D-NY).  The night went so long, that the "key-note" speaker, Pres. Joe Biden, speech was bumped from 8pm PT to 9:30pm PT - which made it almost midnight on the East Coast.
