Brothers Pimm

The Caliban continues toward Barbados with Sam Axe to help him face the judgment of the Brothers Pimm Society, whose ship he'd been sailing for far longer than intended... but as they do, Thomas Edge investigates the strange ivory reliquary recovered from their raid on Jamaica. Meanwhile in Barbados Mary is after a lost treasure of their own in Venezuela that Hawley had discovered--but not before tipping off Sorrowful's dread father, Johnny Bibles, about the mystery...

Two victories in hand but more battles to come, the two crews continue their quests. While Mary and Sorrowful enjoy their nearly bloodless victory on newly retaken Barbados, they encounter evidence that Sorrowful's old tricks may have put Hawley on the tail of something interesting. Meanwhile, flush with plunder from Jamaica, the crew of the Caliban gather around Sam Axe and hear more of his past with this mysterious Brothers Pimm Society.

The two crews are each meeting an unexpected opportunity on their voyages, and must plan quickly lest the chance pass them by. Off the shores of Jamaica the crew of the Caliban listen to young Gregory Pimm tell them of the weakly guarded treasury in Santiago de las Vegas, while in Barbados Sorrowful Barks prepares to confront Henry Hawley again after changing his life during their last meeting...

With the threat of the new Windward Fleet close at hand, the pirates of Tortuga scatter with their ships to scout the incoming treasure fleet--and investigate rumors of Warmgore's crew in the Orinoco. Still shaken from their encounter with the spirit and their ensuing fight, fate has some twists left for them along the way...

With a Spanish galleon captured, the crew of the Caliban must deal with the captured crew quickly before their victory proves short lived... With Sorrowful Barks still reeling and Thomas Edge drained from his encounter with the spirit, it's up to the others to defuse the powder keg a second time But their trip home is harried by a new force that has just arrived in the Caribbean--one searching for them.

While Mary and Thomas worry over a still-unconscious Brigitte, the rest of the crew of the Caliban prepare to seize a Spanish military ship. With the treasure fleet sailing soon, they'll need every edge they can get... and with inside knowledge of a newly inspired Captain Diallo, they hope to pick off a prize while its away from its protection.
