Will Vlasek was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for his efforts on and off the field. His favorite thing about high school sports is the camaraderie and the trust and dependence of teammates that is required. Will has found agriculture to play a huge part in his life. Thanks to agricultural activities, he has developed leadership and speaking skills, made connections with like-minded individuals, and found a way to advocate for growers and the agriculture industry. Will is involved in football, FFA, student council, National Honor Society, 4H, Cedar Rapids Leadership for Five Seasons, and National Council on Youth Leadership, and volunteers for local community events and charities. After graduation, Will plans to study ag engineering at Iowa State and hopes to grow his sales skills.
