There was too much money spent in payroll for the Phillies to be as bad as they are. Giardi was in his 3rd year with the team and it just didn’t work out. The bullpen can’t get outs. They went from 1 game back all the way to 8.5 games back in 2 weeks. Ohtani can’t hit. He’s been average pitching. Can they turn it around?
