Considering how eligible clients can split certain super contribution with their spouse can be a powerful strategy to boost retirement savings, help with balance equalisation or tax-effectively manage insurance held through super. While not required to be offered by super funds, where your clients have the choice, contributions splitting can open a number of planning opportunities.
