It was a Merry Christmas for Ohio State as the Buckeyes landed 2020 four-star wide receiver Gee Scott from the state of Washington on Tuesday.

What does this say about the recruiting of Ryan Day and Brian Hartline?

The People's Champ, Matt Baxendell, joins Dave Biddle for today's show to discuss that, plus:

* What will happen with OSU's defensive coaching staff following the Rose Bowl? Will Greg Schiano return as defensive coordinator? Or will Day perhaps promote Alex Grinch to defensive coordinator, and bring in someone like Marcus Freeman as co-DC?

* What are thoughts on the matchup with Washington in the Rose Bowl, which is just six days away?

All of that and more on the Wednesday extravaganza.

Will Justin Fields transfer to Ohio State following the bowl season?

According to Bill "Bank" Greene, the chances of Fields playing for the Buckeyes in 2019 is excellent.

Bank joins Dave Biddle on today's show to discuss all things Fields, plus:

* Has Ryan Day smoothed things over with 5-star 2020 recruit Paris Johnson?

* How many recruits will the Buckeyes add in their 2019 class in February? Will Doug Nester sign with OSU?

* What are insights on OSU's matchup with Washington in the Rose Bowl?

All of that and more on this Christmas Eve edition of the BM5.

Jonah Booker joins Dave Biddle for an action-packed edition of the show to discuss that, plus:

* What type of quarterback would the Buckeyes be getting in Fields if he does transfer to OSU?

* What are people nationwide saying about Ryan Day and his ability to coach up QBs?

* Ohio State's 2019 recruiting class is high on quality and low on quantity. The Buckeyes are ranked No. 12 in the 247Sports Composite team recruiting rankings. What is JBook's take on this class thus far?

* The Buckeyes are still favored by 7 points over Washington in the Rose Bowl. It seems like not many people are talking about that game itself. So, we do a least a little bit of that on today's show.

* Ohio State's men's basketball team takes on UCLA in Chicago on Saturday at 3 p.m. ET. Chris Holtmann's squad is ranked No. 15 in the country (despite being picked 10th in the Big Ten in the preseason) and would move to 11-1 with a win over the Bruins (7-4).

All of that and more on the Friday spectacular.
