What came up lately for me is my responsibility as a coach.
The responsibility to not share some BS just to make money.
And especially in the health & fitness industry I see a lot of that stuff.
No wonder you are so overwhelmed and don’t what to do.
Or you frustrated because you tried 23948 things that didn’t work out for you.
I see myself as a guide and a leader for my audience and my clients.
So, I am not responsible for each result, but I am responsible for WHAT I am teaching and that it is 100 % the best what my clients could get.
And I take that job very seriously.
And my hair stands on end if I watch 90 % (or more) of coaches or influencers who exploit their positions of power.
And I just want to create this awareness for you – as someone who is searching for way to live a healthy life and supporting your body with that.
No matter what you see (even my content) – does it feel good and right to you or just like a “quick fix”?
And be truly honest to yourself here.
And when you see someone wanting you to get on power cords for 20 minutes and saying that this is enough for the week – then it’s really time to tune in to yourself.
And when someone says that “this is the only way to reach your goal” – this is also NOT TRUE.
I wrote an amazing training plan for one of my 1:1 clients – which included some exercises and parts where he should walk with some weights in his rucksack.
I was the happiest person on earth when he told me that he skipped the plan after two weeks and just walked – because it felt so good to him.
(Sidenote: In my eyes walking is the most powerful movement that exists – but that’s a topic for another post)
I mean how amazing is that? And that’s what I want – that my clients find a way for them. I create the baseline and give them a way it could work – and we are looking together what’s best for them – or create something new for them.
And in the end – me as a coach – I look in the mirror and I am so in love with what I am teaching, because I know it is so essential and potent and transforming - so it changes the trajectory of my clients’ lives in a positive way.
That’s what I am here for.
Just sayin’.
Love,
Tanya
