How we respond to God’s word is the test of our Christian faith. It’s all well and good to say that we Christians who love and trust God. But in the end what matters is our lives. Do we live out the word of God? Hearing the word of God, should never be an academic exercise simply about acquiring more knowledge. It should always lead to a changed life.

It’s a common experience that people only turn to God when they’re desperate. When trouble strikes, their first instinct is to try and solve the problem themselves. Over the last 100 years, our world has been through an extraordinary revolution in attitudes to sex. Our world is increasingly on a quest for sexual freedom. But in may ways this "freedom" has instead led to bondage. In 1 Corinthians 6:12-20, we're reminded of how much our bodies matter to God, and how God's design for sex is so much better than our modern alternatives. True sexual freedom is living out God's design, not the dangerous and destructive path of sexual immorality.
